The party gathers themselves and sets out for the wing of Runeforge known as the Iron Cages of Lust. Unlike other areas of Runeforge, the Iron Cages consists of single large chamber. In the center, a small structure made of flapping silk impossibly stands without structure.
Surrounding the room are several small iron cages. In one such cage a living man trembles.
From the silk structure, four scantily-clad winged humanoid women fly forth into the chamber, circling the party and taunting them with a mix of jeers and lascivious remarks. As the group approaches the man in the cage, the winged women hiss and swoop in to attack.
The battle is brief as two of the creatures are slain and the other two retreat to the silk structure in the room’s center.
The caged man babbles incoherently and, unable to break the lock to his cage, the group leaves him and approaches the opening to the central structure. Inside, four stone giants await and attack on sight. The confined quarters preventing them from fully coordinating their attack, they are easily defeated.
At last the party reaches their intended destination – a room lined with pillows, cushions, and throw rugs with a bed in each corner covered in ropes and leather straps. The air shimmers with pleasant-smelling mist, and sitting in a throne against the far wall, flanked by the two remaining winged women sits a familiar face – the woman Vraxeris had created six clones of – the succubus you know from his writings as Delvahine.
“I will give you what you seek, one of my… toys. As payment, the half-elf only need to accompany me into my boudoir for a few minutes of fun…. alone.” -Delvahine
Saverio offers her wealth instead and the succubus appears interested, but unimpressed, as she twirls a lock of Midna’s hair. As the offer of treasure increases, she turns her attention at last away from Midna and begins to barter.
In the end, the group parts ways with enough treasure to build a small town but leaves the Iron Cages with what appears to be a well-used… ‘implement’.
